The Belize Marketing & Development Corporation (BMDC), as part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise, has the responsibility to assist small farmers and beekeepers to adopt Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA). Our corporation is committed to supporting sustainable beekeeping practices and promoting the well-being of beekeepers. To enhance beekeepers' knowledge and skills, a specialized training program will be imparted to train beekeepers how to create different biproducts from honey. This will help them minimize waste from their hives while ensuring the sustainability of bee populations for future generations.
